Super Eagles of Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen has pledged to bring European glory to his Turkish club, Galatasaray.
Osimhen made the statement on Thursday night, November 28, following Galatasaray’s 1-1 draw against AZ Alkmaar in the UEFA Europa League.
The former Lille striker, who played in the clash, scored a crucial equaliser in the 43rd minute after the Dutch side had taken an early lead.
Despite the game ending in a draw, Osimhen assured fans of his commitment to help them bring the UEFA Cup to Turkey.
Speaking to Parçalı Sportz, a prominent Turkish sports media outlet on X, Osimhen said, “I said I would score a goal, and I did. I promise you one more thing; I will bring the UEFA Cup to Turkey.”
