Singer-songwriter and actress, Selena Gomez, has appreciated Nigerian superstar, Rema, for changing her life forever.
The duo teamed up on the remix of Rema’s global hit ‘Calm Down.’
Taking to her Instagram page today, Selena thanked Rema for choosing her to be on the remix of ‘Calm Down’ which she described as one of the biggest songs in the world.
Gomez declared to her 425 million followers that the 23-year-old Nigerian changed her life forever.
She also declared her undying love for Rema.
She wrote, “This man has changed my life forever. Rema, thank you for choosing me to be part of one of the biggest songs in the world. Love you forever.”
‘Calm Down’ has surpassed one billion combined streams on YouTube and Spotify.
The song was also recognized by Guinness World Records for securing the first number 1 hit on the world’s first regional streaming chart and first-ever official chart in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA)
