Pete Edochie reveals why he couldn’t quit alcohol

Actor, Pete Edochie has shared a humorous anecdote about his attempt to quit drinking alcohol.

In a new video, he revealed that he made a New Year’s resolution three years ago to abstain from drinking, but his friends’ reaction led him to quickly reverse his decision.

According to Edochie, he had told his friends about his resolution, and they initially congratulated him on his decision.

However, their idea of celebrating his newfound sobriety was to take him out for a drink, which ultimately led him to abandon his resolution.

He said: “About three years ago, I said in my New Year resolution, that I was going to stop drinking. So my friends came and I told them I had now resolved to stop drinking. They said that was good. let’s go and celebrate it. So we went back to drinking”.
