Actress Bolatito Sowowunmi, who played the role of ‘Miss Pepeiye‘ in Papa Ajasco and Company, has spoken up amid the ongoing controversy surrounding her colleague.
The actress, in a lengthy Facebook post, explained that she will never criticise Wale Adenuga Productions noting that they created a platform to showcase creatives.
Bolatito urged users to stop criticising Papa Ajasco for opening up about his financial struggles, stating that everyone is just striving to survive.
”They have done their part by creating a platform for creatives, It’s noble and appreciated. This is not the time for blame games.
Everyone is pushing and doing their bit to survive. Especially in a country like Nigeria, where every thing seems hard,” she stated.
She also revealed that she has no rights to the name ‘Miss Pepeiye’, revealing that most character names were trademarked by Wale Adenuga Productions.
“Miss Pepeiye is not mine is a copyright brand name of Characters registered ® under Wale Adenuga Productions. Anyone playing that role at the time , will have access to the name during the period of service in all,” she added.
