Talented singer and performer Tems has achieved and set a new record in the Nigerian music industry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
In the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated today, Monday, May 9, 2022, talented vocalist Tems set a new milestone for Nigerian music on the chart.
Tems is officially the first and only female Nigerian artist to ever top the Hot 100 chart following her feature on Future’s hit song ‘Wait For U’ alongside Drake.
This is not the first time the Grammy-nominated singer would be making her appearance on the Hot 100 chart; the singer with Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ alongside Justin Bieber hit number 9 while the collaboration with Drake titled ‘Fountains’ peaked at number 26.
