
Nigeria’s Super Eagles have emerged victorious in the Unity Cup, defeating Jamaica 5–4 on penalties at Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium in London.
The thrilling match ended 2–2 after regular time, marking Nigeria’s second consecutive Unity Cup title.
Moses Simon opened the scoring for Nigeria in the 9th minute, followed by an equalizer from Jamaica’s Kaheim Dixon. Samuel Chukwueze put Nigeria ahead again in the second half, but Jonathan Russell leveled the score for Jamaica, sending the game to a penalty shootout.
