Gospel singer Judikay has opened up about the heartbreak of losing a pregnancy for the sixth time, sharing the emotional ordeal in a video posted on Wednesday
The mother-of-one revealed that she was over three months pregnant when she first noticed discomfort.
“In February 2025, I felt a pain that almost broke me. I was more than three months along. One day, while going about my routine, I started experiencing cramps. At first, I thought, ‘oh, it’s just normal.’ But then I noticed a little blood, and I said, ‘oh, spotting,’” she recounted.
The singer explained that the bleeding soon became heavy and persistent, signaling the worst outcome.
“I was devastated because I knew immediately what it meant,” she said, adding that it marked her sixth pregnancy loss.
Judikay was rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed a missed miscarriage and performed a D&C procedure.
Back home, she described struggling to cope, particularly at night. “In the silence of the night, I felt a pain I couldn’t put into words,” she said. “I would wake up crying, saying, Jesus, where are you?”
Judikay, whose full name is Judith Kanayo‑Opara, is married to Pastor Anselem Opara.
