I Don’t Want To Be Forgotten As Musician -J’odie

Nigerian songbird, Joy Odiete aka J’odie has said that she does not want to be forgotten as a musician.

The ‘Kuchi Kuchi’ singer made this cry during a recent interview with The Nation.

She said although her special project as an activist for special needs children has taken much of her time, she is still in the business of doing music.

Delta State indigene noted that being an activist for special needs children will never take away her passion and love for the art but rather ignite it on a daily basis.

Asked whether there has been a shift in her musical career since she took up the activist course, she said: “yes because I paid a lot of attention to the course. Some comments are like “oh we need you back in music, we can’t wait to have you back and so on but I never left, for those who think I have stopped singing, I am still in the business of making music and I don’t I will ever stop singing.”
