Erling Haaland has set a new Premier League milestone, becoming the fastest player ever to reach 100 goals in the competition
The Manchester City forward hit the landmark on Tuesday night when he opened the scoring in their dramatic 5–4 win over Fulham.
Haaland needed just 111 league appearances to hit the century, shattering the long-standing record held by Alan Shearer, who reached the mark in 124 matches. The 25-year-old also ended a brief goal drought, having gone three games without scoring against Newcastle, Bayer Leverkusen and Leeds.
A breakdown of his tally shows Haaland’s remarkable efficiency: 71 of his 100 goals were scored with his left foot, while 17 came from headers.
