Grace, Moderation Behind My Marital Success –Jaiye Kuti

Actress Jaiye Kuti, has credited God’s grace and doing things in moderation as the reasons behind the success of her marriage.

In an interview with Sunday Scoop, she said, “It is simply by the grace of God, as well as the support and understanding of family. I also try to do everything in moderation.

I make sure I set aside quality time for my family to ensure continuous bonding.”

Speaking on some of the challenges she faced when she got into the industry, Kuti said, “Acceptance is a major challenge for most new actors and I wasn’t an exception. People are often afraid/skeptical of what they are not familiar with.

“It is not unusual that when one gets into the industry, one will have to work hard and fight for one’s space. I had to do that and I still do in order to remain relevant. However, God has been very merciful to me and I am indeed grateful.”

She also stated that she intentionally moderates the way she shares pictures of her family on social media. She said, “Social media is just to create social moments and it’s not all social moments that one’s nuclear family is part of.

Also, the world is more different than ever. We have to be careful and pay attention to the times. I don’t believe in flaunting everything about my home or family.”
