Dunsin Oyekan has reflected on his six-year journey through grief following the loss of his wife, Adedoyin, on May 18, 2019.
The couple married in February 2013 with two children before her death, the details of which remain private.
In an Instagram post, the 40-year-old singer opened up about how the pain of losing Adedoyin has shaped his spiritual path.
He explained that he didn’t suppress his grief but instead channeled it into worship, finding strength and healing in God’s presence.
He wrote: “Most people wondered how I survived. I didn’t numb the pain, I channeled it!
“I found closure in the Presence of God, understood from God’s perspective, accepted His sovereignty and found joy in His presence!
“6 years after, with tears of joy,all I still have to say is GOD IS GOOD!.”
