Davido confirms time and location for White wedding with Chioma

Afrobeats superstar Davido has confirmed that his white wedding with Chioma will take place in August 2025 in Miami.

He made the announcement during an interview on The Breakfast Club, offering rare insight into their relationship and the upcoming celebration.

“So I’m doing my white wedding in Miami in August,” Davido revealed, prompting surprise from the hosts who believed the wedding had already happened. He laughed, recalling how their traditional wedding in June 2024 had such a huge impact that it felt like a national holiday in Nigeria. “Girls were crying, like, ‘Oh my God, he’s off the market.’ The whole world stood still,” he said.

Opening up further, Davido reflected on the couple’s journey, including public scrutiny, personal challenges, and the heartbreaking loss of their child in 2022. “A lot of things have happened… I done messed up a lot of times,” he admitted.

He described the white wedding as a “full circle moment,” symbolizing his growth and commitment to Chioma.

He also praised her loyalty and grace throughout their relationship. “You can never see my wife go to any interview, or go live, or do normal things. And I appreciate her for that,” he said, emphasizing how much he values her quiet strength.
