Davido announces first ever London festival at Crystal Palace bowl

Davido has announced his first-ever curated festival in London, set for August 14, 2026, at the historic Crystal Palace Bowl.

The Grammy-nominated Afrobeats star confirmed that the show will be his only outdoor performance in the city this summer. Sharing the news on social media, Davido wrote: “For the first time ever I present to you… Davido & Friends Festival. It’s going down at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14th. Sign up for first access.”

He also revealed ticketing details, stating, “Pre-sale 26 March 10am GMT Gen-sale 27 March 10am GMT.”

Unlike a standard concert, Davido will not only headline but also curate the full lineup, giving fans a taste of the “& Friends” concept and fueling speculation about special guest appearances, though he has yet to confirm who will join him on stage.

The festival is part of the wider “Palace Bowl Presents” series, a collection of shows running from July 31 to August 16 at the venue. Earlier dates in the series already feature global artists such as Tasha Cobbs Leonard and Kirk Franklin.

The Crystal Palace Bowl, established in 1961, is one of London’s most iconic open-air arenas, seating around 15,000 and known for hosting major international acts. Davido’s headline booking places him among a select group of global performers to grace the stage.

The announcement coincides with a high point in Davido’s career. His fifth studio album, 5ive, released in 2025, has earned widespread acclaim, with several tracks gaining international recognition and further cementing his role as a leading figure in Afrobeats.
