After controversy deliverance, Tonto Dikeh returns to the school with laptop donation

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh with the doing is at it again.
Days after a controversy deliverance she conducted in a school, the actress returned — but this time with massive gifts.

Taking to page, the actress revealed that her charity, the Tonto Dikeh Foundation, is donating 30 laptops to three schools as part of her evangelism outreach. Each school will receive 10 laptops.

She even started with the same school where the deliverance happened JSS Durumi II where the first 10 laptops were handed over to students.
She wrote:

“The Tonto Dikeh Foundation
Donating 30 laptops in support of My Evangelism Outreach — 10 each for three schools, is an investment in the future of these students and their communities.
We are grateful to share that the first 10 laptops have already been donated to JSS Durumi II, marking the beginning of this impactful initiative.

We are grateful to share that the first 10 laptops have already been donated to JSS Durumi II, marking the beginning of this impactful initiative.

In today’s world, digital literacy is no longer optional; it is essential.
Access to laptops gives students the tools to explore knowledge beyond the classroom, develop critical technology skills, conduct research, and participate in a global learning environment. It also helps bridge the digital divide that often limits the potential of talented young minds simply because they lack the right resources.

By equipping these schools with laptops, we are empowering students to learn more effectively, think creatively, and prepare for opportunities in higher education and the modern workforce.
This initiative is not just about providing devices. It is about opening doors to innovation, confidence, and a future where these students can compete and thrive in an increasingly digital world”.

But the story doesn’t end there.

This comes less than a day after human rights lawyer Ikechukwu Obasi filed a ₦200 million fundamental rights suit at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja on behalf of a JSS1 student involved in the deliverance, arguing that the act violated the child’s dignity and privacy and could expose her to ridicule or emotional trauma.

For now, no one knows what comes next regarding the existing lawsuit against her.
