
Super Eagles interim coach Austin Eguavoen has named a 23-man squad for the upcoming 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Rwanda and Benin
The squad list sees the return of Victor Osimhen and Sadiq Umar to the Super Eagles fold as the 2013 African Champions aim to seal a qualification ticket for the next AFCON slated to hold in Morocco.
The Super Eagles currently lead Group D with 10 points, having secured six points off Libya. They now need at least one more point to ensure their qualification for next year’s AFCON.
Super Eagles full squad list:
Goalkeepers: Stanley Nwabali, Maduka Okoye, Amas Obasogie
Defenders: Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey, William Troost-Ekong, Ola Aina, Bruno Onyemeachi, Gabriel Osho, Victor Collins.
Midfielders: Alex Iwobi, Frank Onyeka, Raphael Onyedika, Wilfred Ndidi, Alhassan Yusuf, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru
Forwards: Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon, Kelechi Iheanacho, Victor Boniface, Umar Sadiq.
The Super Eagles will face Benin on November 14, followed by a home match against Rwanda in Uyo on November 18.
