Why I married Kazim Adeoti – Actress, Mercy Aigbe

Mercy Aigbe has revealed the driving force behind her decision to marry Kazim Adeoti.

She revealed this in an interview on Nollywood on Radio.

Mercy Aigbe tied the knot with Adeoti as his second wife in January 2022.

She attributed her decision to mutual career ambitions, citing the benefits of being married to someone in the same industry.

“We’re building a production empire together,” Aigbe explained. “I needed someone to collaborate with, and it’s fortunate he understands the vision. Combining our strengths, the future looks promising.”

Their marriage sparked controversy and also led to public feuds with Adeoti’s first wife, Funsho, who recently banned him from attending her 50th birthday party.

Despite the controversy, Aigbe remains focused on the future she and Adeoti are building together in Nollywood. “We’re working towards a common goal, and that’s what matters,” she emphasized.
