Nigerian singer, Tems has continued an amazing run this year by grabbing another accolade from Billboard as their R&B/Hip-Hop Rookie for the month of October.
Tems has been crowned by Billboard as their R&B/Hip-Hop Rookie for October after a very good month for the singer. This was shared via Instagram on Friday, the 22nd of October 2021. Tems has had a very good year so far this 2021, with the singer also recently grabbing a nomination at this year’s MTV EMAs for Best African Act. She was also given platinum plaque for her collaboration with Wizkid, Essencewhich has taken over the airwaves for the most part of the year. Tems also featured on Drake’s new album this year, in addition to releasing her own EP, If Orange Was A Place. The year continues to yield amazing things for Tems as she is now the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Rookie for the month of October. The singer’s collaboration with Wizkid, Essence has recently broken into the top 10 on the prestigious Billboard Hot 100 chart. All these and many more contributed to making 2021 and unforgettable year for Tems.
