Olamide is the only artiste that supported Majek Fashek financially, manager reveals

Majek Fashek’s manager, Umenka Uzoma has revealed rapper Olamide is the only Nigerian artiste that supported Majek Fashek when he was at a London hospital and needed financial help.
Recall the manager had sent out an SOS, saying Nigerians shouldn’t let the legend die in his sickness, while calling on well to do individuals, to support the singer financially.

Speaking as a guest on a program on Nigeria Info’s 99.3, Uzoma revealed that Olamide was the only one who sent money in.

“He called me up in England and he said, Bros, sorry oh, I wan support Baba, don’t discuss this with anybody and he said I must not mention this. He is the only person that supported.”

Uzoma however said, others came forward, but he asked them to calm down and wait for Majek to come back.

”I decided to stop some of them because when money comes in, so many controversies arise, people you don’t know from any corner start raising some dirty voices,” he said.

The manager would however not discuss the health of his patron. “It is a private matter right now and his family is handling it. You don’t want to wash you dirty linen in public. He is not in the hospital though, I am communicating with his son.” he concluded
