Grace found me, just like Kelly Rowland – Annie Idibia

Grace found me, just like Kelly Rowland – Annie Idibia

Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has shared her feelings after hearing a touching story from American singer and actress Kelly Rowland about her mother’s struggles.

In a video posted on Instagram, the former Destiny’s Child member spoke about the emotional moment of buying her first home, a major achievement as the first in her family to do so.

Rowland revealed that her mother worked hard as a nanny and housekeeper, taking on low-paying jobs to support the family.

Annie, who could relate to Rowland’s experience, shared in her Instagram story that her own mother faced even tougher challenges, but eventually found grace.

In a heartfelt message to her mother, Annie promised to take her on trips around the world and give her a comfortable life, affirming that her mother truly deserves it.

She wrote: “I keep wondering why I love Kelly. The story is so close to mine; her mum was only a nanny and housekeeper. That’s what we call (house girl) in Naija. Mine was a bit worse!! But hey!! Grace found me.

To my mother: I will take you round the world and give you the very soft life you deserve and more!! My mama’s name na GRACE, I’m a #childofgrace #grateful #favored #uniquelyblessed.”
